Booking Information
Bookings & Payment
- Bookings: Minimum 3 days except for high season where minimum booking is 7 days with Friday as the arrival / departure day.
- Booking Deposit: 25% of full booking value.
- Final Balance: Due six weeks before the arrival date.
- Good Housekeeping Deposit: £500 and due with the final balance payment. Refunded in full at the end of your stay all being well with the house.
- Bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date will be payable in full.

Arrival & Departure
- Check-in: 4pm (unless otherwise agreed in writing beforehand)
- Check-out: 10am (unless otherwise agreed in writing beforehand)
Price Includes
- Bedroom essentials: cotton bed linen with non-feather pillow & duvet preferences available on request & coat hangers
- Bathroom essentials: Towels, bathmats, handwash & starter amounts of loo roll
- Kitchen essentials: salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee, tea, sugar, cleaning products, dishwasher tabs, bin bags, kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film, tea towels, matches
- Laundry essentials: washing machine, washing powder, drying racks, iron & ironing board
- Utilities
- Logs & kindling for fires, stove and fire pit
- BBQ with utensils, firelighters & cleaning liquid
Upon Request
- Catering: clients are free to invite caterers of their choice to Eastwood, but this must be agreed in advance. For information on local businesses providing catering see Events
- Extra housekeeping can be provided if agreed in advance.
- Pets: up to 2 pets allowed at a charge of £20 per pet
- Extra camp beds for children: maximum of 2 at £20 per bed
- Fresh bed linen is available at a cost of £10 per set
Children Welcome
- A small selection of books, toys, games and puzzles are available in the house. In addition, we have Lego, Monopoly, Cluedo, a rounders set, a boules set, a cricket set, a football and a rugby ball all available on request.
- Two cots (bedding provided if requested)
- Two highchairs and a toddler chair
House Restrictions
- No fireworks please.
- Hen & Stag groups: We will consider bookings for Hen groups, but details must be agreed in advance. The maximum occupancy for these events is 17 which includes 2 additional camp beds at £20 each. We do not take bookings for stag events.
- We do not hire the house to groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25.
- Parking: limited to 8 cars. Additional cars can be parked in the village car park opposite the Taybank Hotel.
- Septic tank: Eastwood is served by a private septic tank, so we ask all guests to safeguard the smooth running of our system by using the disposal bags & bin provided in all bathrooms for anything other than loo roll.
- Noise policy: we ask that no music systems, with or without amplification, are played outside in the garden areas after 11pm.
